The normal work schedule is on a rotation of

6 weeks -

3 weeks worked

(77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by

3 weeks paid for rest

The site service group of mechanics is divided into

3 specialties:

1. Drilling equipment

2. Surface equipment

3. Underground equipment

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the mechanic coordinates all maintenance activities and carries out tasks while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the work environment. His main tasks include:

Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment. Repair equipment and ensure proper functioning of heavy machinery. Be capable of diagnosing and inspecting heavy machinery. Assist colleagues on-site with various tasks as needed. Adhere to company health and safety requirements and recommendations. Carry out other related tasks related to the position.

Qualifications

Diploma (DEP) in mechanics (heavy construction equipment) or equivalent experiences considered. Experience with Caterpillar products, mining equipment, hydraulics, and electronics. You must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience Valid Class 5 driver's license. Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that facilitates and enhances our internal communications. Experience with SIS and ET systems.
