Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a flair for crafting unique cocktails and providing exceptional customer service. As a Mixologist, you will play a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks. Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests. Operate the Micros POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of food items. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and ingredients, placing orders as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing any concerns promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food items served alongside beverages. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and utensils.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a focus on mixology or bartending. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food service industry. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. A passion for hospitality and providing memorable experiences for guests.
