Responsibilities

Scale all ingredients according to recipes. Cut, weigh, scale, measure and place dough in bins/mixing bowls and move into fermentation area Fill mixers with pre-measured ingredients in correct sequence. Monitor and maintain the correct size, color and weight of various products as set out by our recipe specifications Troubleshoot dough, adding ingredients to ensure the quality expectations are being met and taking into account the variables such as ingredients, temperature Keep the area clean and put away utensils in the proper location after use. Adhere to all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures and have an understanding and respect for GMPs.

Requirements

A lover of bread and baked goods! You have strong people skills--you're approachable, a good listener, and empathetic You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!) You have previous baking experience, and ideally some knowledge of SAP You are comfortable lifting 30-50 pounds to move our ingredient packages and cases Like working in a fast-paced environment, be self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career Solid mathematical skills to help bring our recipes to life in the bakery You're dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues You digest constructive feedback as an opportunity to listen, and improve your skills, abilities, and performance
