Our facility in Mississauga is looking for a Mixer to join the team!
LOCATION: Mississauga, ON.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time
PAY RATE: $23.00/hr
SHIFT: Days Shift

Responsibilities

• Sets up bulk computer system for required delivery of ingredients as per formulation.
• Accurately scales hand-added ingredients as per formulation, including re-work.
• Sets Mixer for required mixing and refrigeration times.
• Assists Operator in setting up proper controls for Divider as per product specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for the set-up of overhead proofer and reciprocating conveyor as per product requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Conducts and records temperature checks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Records the completion of each mixed batch into SAP and batching sheet. Records all lot numbers and ensures they match ingredients in SAP.
• Maintains flour dusters as required.
• Performs Changeovers in a timely manner to maximize production efficiencies.
• Assists Research and Development with Product Trials.
• Ensures equipment is cleaned in accordance with Kosher and Allergen standards. Performs housekeeping duties, as required, to maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Adheres to all safety and good manufacturing practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dough mixing qualities or previous experience as a mixer is preferred.
• Attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Comfortable lifting to 50 lbs. of weight on a consistent basis.
• Able to push and pull weight up to 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
• Maintain productivity in a fast-paced operation.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) considered an asset.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills preferred
