Stuyvers Bread, located in the Gloucester Industrial area of Langley/Aldergrove, is looking for full-time Bakery Mixers to join our team in our production facility!

2:00pm - 10:30pm

Wage:

$23.50 plus $1.50 afternoon shift premium

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow production schedule and set up Mixing machinery as per specified

Record production information such as quantity, weight, size, data and type of products mixed

Record lot numbers used in each batch on lot control sheet and numbers

Follow color coding system to prevent cross-contamination

Label ingredient containers properly with description and lot code

Ensure products meet quality and food safety standards as per the SQF and GMP regulations

Notify production or other departments of any issues pertaining to product or machinery

Provide coverage in various areas of the production plant where required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Strict attention to detail

Experience working in a bakery production facility is preferred; night shift experience an asset

Able to follow directions; verbal and written communication in English

Able to work quickly and efficiently with hands, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting properly

A willingness to collaborate and contribute ideas to improve team performance

Support and encourage fellow team members and their success

Work well under pressure

Must be able to lift 50lbs at times throughout the day; push/pull up to 800lb mixing bowls

Must have steel toed footwear; boot allowance after successful completion of 3 month probationary period; annually

Punctuality and good attendance is required
