Position: Mixers (AM/PM FLEX)

Hourly rate: $19.00 / hour + plus shift premiums of an extra $0.50/hour (afternoon shift) and $1.00/hour (night shift) and benefits.

2 Postitions Available

SHIFT: AM Shift (7am - 3pm) PM Shift (3pm-11pm) Saturday - Thursday OR PM Shift (11pm-7am) Saturday - Thursday

Our facility located at 122 Carrier Drive, Etobicoke ON M9W 5R1 is now hiring for Mixers in the production department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scale ingredients according to formulation.
• Loading and unloading ingredients in mixing bowl.
• Operate and maintain mixing equipment.
• Retrieve boxes/bags of ingredients, replenish ingredient bins as needed.
• Perform required testing in accordance with food safety.
• Complete pre-operational startup paperwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely record keeping.
• Maintain general cleanliness of the work area.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Manufacturing experience preferred (food manufacturing is an asset).
• Experience operating machinery in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling, and repetitive movements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions of Supervisory staff.
• Ability to identify and communicate any found defects or products not meeting standard.
• Must be able to weekends and available for over time
