Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mixer to join our team in the food processing industry,

M to F from 3 PM to 12 AM

. The Mixer will play a crucial role in the production process by combining ingredients to create high-quality products while adhering to food safety standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate mixing equipment to combine ingredients according to specified recipes and production schedules. Sanitate work areas, equipment, and tools to maintain a clean and safe environment. Package finished products for distribution, ensuring proper labeling and quality control. Monitor the mixing process for consistency and quality, making adjustments as necessary. Fabricate and assemble components as needed for production processes. Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies during production activities. Maintain accurate records of production data, including ingredient usage and batch numbers. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to operating mixing equipment. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Experience operating forklifts is a plus for material handling tasks. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and maintaining records. Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to ensure compliance with health standards. Knowledge of food processing techniques is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
