Tasks

Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software and hardware Develop and implement policies and procedures throughout the software development life cycle Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality Execute and document results of software application tests and information and telecommunication systems tests Provide staff training Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations Analyze data and prepare reports Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures Collect and document user's requirements Perform backup procedures to ensure data preservation Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software Prepare reports and recommendations Coordinate IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organization's IT infrastructure
