Job Description

This position would suit a person who is semi-retired and is interested in working approximately 30-40 hours per week, 3-4 days per week. A Delivery Expert for Bin There Dump That will be responsible for deliveries and pick ups of disposal bins using a company owned vehicle. We will provide 250+ hours of paid training. All required uniforms and PPE are provided and paid for by the company. Qualifications: - Working from our Toronto yard, an ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, with some commercial vehicle operation experience preferred but not required. Comprehensive initial training is provided. - A valid minimum G license is required. - Ability to speak, read and write English is required. Job Summary


We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mini Bin Disposal Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to collect and dispose of mini bins, ensuring efficient waste management services. This role requires strong driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities to coordinate with team members and clients. Responsibilities



Safely operate various commercial vehicles including mini bins, dump trucks, box trucks, and other heavy equipment as needed. Collect waste from designated locations using appropriate driving techniques for different vehicle types such as shuttle driving, route driving, or heavy haul operations. Load and unload waste containers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic mechanical checks to ensure optimal operation. Maintain accurate records of pickups and deliveries, communicating effectively with dispatch and clients. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during daily operations. Assist in yard activities such as moving equipment or containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse tools when necessary. Ensure proper maintenance of the vehicle fleet by reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Experience



Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or shuttle driving with a valid driver's license. Familiarity with operating various types of commercial vehicles including box trucks, dump trucks, tractor-trailers, flatbeds, or tanker trucks is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic vehicle maintenance is advantageous. Prior warehouse experience or working with freight, heavy haul, or military logistics is a plus. Strong communication skills for coordinating routes and interacting with team members and clients. Previous roles involving load & unload tasks or yard jockey duties will be considered beneficial. This position requires a dedicated individual capable of handling physically demanding tasks while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism in all operations.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
