This Position reports to:


Hoisting Service Manager

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Maintenance:

Serve as the primary contact for technical aspects post-start-up and lead the hoist system maintenance program.

On-Site & Remote Assistance:

Provide installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance support.

Safety & Performance Inspections:

Conduct audits to ensure proper operation and safety compliance of hoisting systems.

Customer Consultation & Issue Resolution:

Advise on service solutions, identify equipment failures, and recommend corrective actions.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement:

Document service activities, suggest product and process enhancements, and uphold ABB's values of safety and integrity.

What it takes to Run what runs the world:

Technology diploma in a related field (electrical preferred) and at least five years of experience with industrial systems. Knowledge and experience in mine hoist systems are valuable assets. Strong focus on customer needs, interpersonal relationships, and leadership in complex environments. Ability to write reports, communicate effectively, and work under high-pressure conditions. Travel & Compliance: Valid passport and driver's license required, with availability to work in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico, including international travel.
