Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in maintaining and repairing industrial corrugated converting machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, with experience in various maintenance tasks, including electrical work, welding, and HVAC systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with company standards. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for installation and repair tasks. Perform welding tasks as needed for equipment repairs or modifications. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify potential issues before they escalate. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance. Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems. Experience as an industrial electrician, including electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with HVAC systems and boiler maintenance. Ability to read schematics and technical documentation effectively. Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing problems and implementing solutions. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Customer service-oriented mindset to address client needs effectively. Pay: $32.00-$50.00 per hour
