Job Description

Your Responsibilities

As Millwright, your main responsibility is to eliminate downtime of production and delivery so that you can continue to grow and delight our customers. You will do this by:

Installing and repairing all production, utility, and processing equipment Supporting our Operating Engineers in performing regular preventive maintenance on equipment Including repairs and maintenance of machinery such as: Ice machines Freezer systems Fish unloading and delivery systems Dock cranes Cooled production areas Installing and training plant staff on all new equipment Performing and documenting regular equipment inspections Welding and fabricating custom parts Collaborating with Operating Engineers to ensure machinery is in working order Some overtime on short notice may be required

Your Qualifications

BC Trade qualification

as a Millwright (you are certified in British Columbia) Experience working with plant pressure equipment such as

boilers, cooling systems, and refrigeration

Strong communication with an ability to interact with all members of a diverse team Experience and knowledge of general

plant maintenance

in a

food processing

environment is an asset Willingness to work flexible hours as needed (i.e., Monday to Friday / Tuesday to Saturday) Knowledge and experience in the

fishing, food processing, or manufacturing industry is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
