Magest Building Systems is hiring! We are seeking a Millwright to join our team

The Millwright will have 3+ years experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

Carries out preventative maintenance on assigned equipment Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in breakdown situations Carries out equipment installations and modifications as required Repair parts in shop Follow company policies and safety standards Works with other trades groups to complete project assignments Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment Perform troubleshooting, and repair on various other equipment Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications

3+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Millwright licence Proven experience with process equipment in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications. Experienced with troubleshooting and repairing various types of systems Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills Electrical experience is an asset Ability to work independently with minimum supervision High level of self-motivation and initiative Excellent written and oral communication skills Dependable with a good attendance and safety record in current position Available to work overtime as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
