Job Overview
As a Millwright, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment. This position demands technical precision, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and align machinery and equipment according to blueprints and schematics.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions.
Weld, fabricate, and machine parts as needed for repairs and upgrades.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and basic electrical systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance programs.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete maintenance and installation projects efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and mechanical systems.
Experience working with electrical systems and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Welding and fabrication experience required.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an asset.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
