Job Description

INTRODUCTION:

ContainerWest is looking for an experienced tradesperson to lead field installs and maintenance work for modular steel buildings and enclosures.

The keys to this role are:

Equipment install or maintenance experience

Trade ticket such as Millwright or Mechanic (or other Field role)

Solve problems in the field

Able to work without supervision

Able to lead a small crew

Work with our team and the customer

CORE DUTIES

Welding, fabricating, craning, repairing, painting, simple electrical, pipefitting

o Install modules, repair deficiencies, fix maintenance issues (door hinges, straighten bent items, touch up paint, welding, piping, replace lights, fans, switches)

Experience with carpentry, concrete, equipment operation an asset

REQUIREMENTS

Red seal in Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or similar field/plant experience

Basic welding

Fluent in English.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a full-time position during normal weekday business hours. While rare, evening or weekend work may be required to meet a rush deadline. Compensation will depend on experience and the value the candidate brings to the role.
