- Repair all machine emergency breakdowns and schedule non-emergency repairs
- Conduct minor electrical and/or electronic repairs
- Monitor all manufacturing equipment and perform routine maintenance when required
- Weld material using in house equipment
- General maintenance of company building including offices
- Order maintenance supplies
- Assist Maintenance Manager to obtain quotes and special pricing
- Assist Maintenance Manager schedule outside contractors
- Document/log machine setups
- Assist Maintenance Manager with inventory and stock control of maintenance department using in-house softwareQualifications
- 433A Certification, and (442a/309a preferred)
- Experience working in the food industry an asset but not necessary
- Proficient in English (written and oral)
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse team
- Driven for results and self-motivated
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and energy in fast paced environment
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
