Industrial Millwright & Electrician (Dual Ticket)

Your Mission



We are seeking an experienced Dual Ticket Millwright & Electrician to join our manufacturing team. This position combines specialized mechanical and electrical skills to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess both millwright and electrician certifications and have experience in industrial settings, preferably in food/beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods.


What you will do



Perform preventative/predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components to ensure continuous operations. Retrieve/input work order information from Maintenance Program Install/disassemble, assess/troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative/predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, devices, and physical plant components. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing instruments Wire controls and equipment according to electrical code requirements Calibrate precision instruments and equipment components Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform repairs to minimize downtime Monitor inventory of parts and supplies and order replacements as needed Document maintenance and repair activities, parts usage, and equipment history Collaborate with production teams to coordinate planned maintenance schedules Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Train and mentor junior technicians as required Other duties as assigned

What we expect from you



Demonstrated understanding and competence with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic (including PLCs) systems and devices with respect to their installation, repair, troubleshooting, and dismantling. Physical ability and cognitive aptitude to perform the essential duties of the job Familiarity with safety devices on all machines and devices. Ability to interpret technical drawings Reasonable oral and written communication skills to convey and receive information Decision making techniques based on assessment of a given situation and sound judgment geared to orders of priority. Basic Computers Skills. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces

Qualifications, Certificates and Licenses Required:



433A Journeyperson Millwright License


309A or 442A Electrician License


Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in electrical systems


Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems


Proficiency with precision measuring instruments


Knowledge of PLC controls and automation systems


Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals


Experience with welding and fabrication an asset


Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures


Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Excellent communication and teamwork abilities


Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions


Minimum 3 -5 years recent, related experience in a manufacturing facility ( preferably in food/beverage or Consumer Packaged Goods.
