Ewing Fabricators Inc. is seeking a Millwright to join its team. This position plays a key role in maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding machinery used in daily operations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across all systems.
Responsibilities:
Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical components using appropriate tools and rigging methods.
Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
Diagnose faults, replace worn or defective parts, and rebuild equipment as needed.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Collaborate with electricians, welders, and operations staff to complete installations or repairs safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and ensure all work complies with safety and company procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
Requirements:
Valid Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification.
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in an industrial, construction, or manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearing assemblies.
Competent in the use of precision measuring tools and alignment techniques.
Welding and fabrication skills are an asset.
Strong safety awareness and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Capable of working in varying environments (shop, plant, or field) and responding to emergency repairs when required.
