Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and experience in industrial maintenance. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.

Duties

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot various types of machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for system diagnostics and repairs. Perform routine maintenance using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory. Work with hydraulics systems to ensure proper functionality and efficiency. Conduct technical sales support when necessary, providing insights on machinery performance to clients. Maintain HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently in conjunction with other equipment. Operate scissor lifts safely while performing maintenance tasks at height. Apply knowledge of HVAC/R principles to maintain climate control systems within the facility. Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate installations and repairs. Perform welding tasks as needed, including welding techniques. Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively. Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service through efficient machine operation and maintenance practices.

Requirements

Proven industrial mechanic experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Solid background in industrial maintenance practices and procedures. Experience with electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications. Familiarity with field service operations in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Proficiency in using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues. Strong analysis skills to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Military experience is a plus but not required; however, candidates should demonstrate relevant skills gained through military training or service. Pay: $29.54-$47.31 per hour
