Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial mechanics and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in various technical areas. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment within the manufacturing facility. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and diagnostics. Perform maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Work with hydraulics and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation. Conduct technical sales support as needed, providing insights into equipment functionality. Operate scissor lifts safely to access elevated work areas. Apply knowledge of HVAC/R systems for installation and repair tasks. Utilize precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments and adjustments. Execute welding tasks, including stick welding, as required for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret schematics to facilitate effective troubleshooting. Conduct electrical maintenance, including high voltage and low voltage systems. Provide field service support as necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality work. Collaborate with team members to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics and maintenance. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Familiarity with electrical systems, including experience as an industrial electrician. Ability to read schematics and perform analysis for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients. Military experience is a plus, bringing additional technical skills and discipline to the role. Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $43.00-$45.00 per hour
