Tillsonburg Custom Foods has an immediate opening available for a Millwright with electrical abilities.

Overview:

The successful candidate is required to have 3-4 years experience in a Maintenance department setting.

Candidate will report to the Director of Manufacturing. They will be responsible for the fine tuning, change over and rebuilding of all food processing equipment, and general maintenance of the plant. Experience in the food industry is an asset with familiarity regarding Food Safety and audit requirements. The elimination of breakdowns is of prime importance.

Key Responsibilities

:

Maintain a clean and organized work area;

Performs complex work assignments in the discipline with normal supervision;

Performs routine work assignments in the following disciplines; electrical, welding, fabricating, plumbing;

Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions and blueprints;

Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work;

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repairing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment;

Provide support in facility related projects and preventative maintenance tasks;

Identify and support continuous improvement effort with Production Manager

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and fix irregularities and malfunctions;

Follow TCF's health and safety rules, policies, work instructions and SOPs

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Characteristics

:

433A certification is required

Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications;

Ability to work in a moderate to cold working environment;

Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements;

Ability to work overtime and weekend as needed to complete all assigned tasks/duties

Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability is a must.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
