About the Role




We're looking for a skilled

Millwright (Industrial Mechanic)

to support our HDPE production facility in Sackville, New Brunswick. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment that supports safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations.


You'll work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to minimize downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role includes after-hours support as required, with overtime paid in accordance with the Employment Standards Act of New Brunswick.

What You'll Do



Install, align, dismantle, and maintain production equipment such as extruders, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and HDPE processing machinery Diagnose mechanical failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime Perform preventive maintenance including lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn components Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems Follow all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and confined space requirements Participate in hazard assessments, incident investigations, and safety training Ensure mechanical work meets applicable standards and internal requirements Work with production and engineering teams to support equipment reliability and performance Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical-related downtime Maintain accurate maintenance and work order records in the CMMS system

Qualifications



Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification preferred Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in rotating equipment and production machinery Hands-on experience with mechanical alignment, hydraulics, and pneumatics Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Safety-focused with attention to detail Reliable, organized, and able to work independently or as part of a team Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
