Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in both electrical and mechanical systems. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in an industrial setting. The Millwright will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure optimal operation and reliability of all equipment.

Duties

Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand system layouts. Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functioning. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and customer service. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of machinery. Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients and team members effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience building and adjusting custom Tube and wire benders is a major asset.
