Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in both electrical and mechanical systems. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment in various industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs. Fabricate components as needed to ensure optimal machine performance. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities. Work with low voltage systems and logic controllers to ensure proper functionality of equipment. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Perform welding tasks as required for repairs or fabrication. Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become critical. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Proficient in electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Experience with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to fabricate parts and components as needed. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in industrial settings. Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members. Welding skills are highly desirable for performing repairs or modifications on-site.
