Our clients, a leader in the Brewing Industry is looking for a talented Millwright to join their team. Job Summary:The Maintenance Millwright is responsible for maintaining and improving plant equipment by performing preventative maintenance work, troubleshooting, machine repairs/modifications and equipment changeovers. Cover 24\xc3\x977 operation of an expanding successful and exciting business.Accountabilities:\xc2\xb7 Responsible for working in a safe and effective manner in compliance with all applicable Federal, Provincial, local, company and facility health and safety, fire, environmental, quality and general ordinances/policies.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for informing the appropriate supervisory or quality staff of any product that they believe will not meet customer/company specification.\xc2\xb7 Supports company objectives of improving facility safety, product quality & manufacturing productivity while reducing costs.\xc2\xb7 Identifies opportunities to improve the operation and maintenance of various equipment and production systems and informs management.\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot production and quality issues in conjunction with operating personnel.\xc2\xb7 Maintains various types of plant equipment by performing predictive maintenance work, preventative maintenance work, troubleshooting and machine repairs in a timely manner.\xc2\xb7 Completes all required documentation including work orders, parts sign-outs, requisitions and quality sign-off sheets.\xc2\xb7 Perform repairs, taking responsibility and ownership of the repair to see the job to completion within time demands\xc2\xb7 Perform welding and machining tasks as required or assigned.\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems\xc2\xb7 Troubleshoot motor control systems and perform minor electrical repairs\xc2\xb7 Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.\xc2\xb7 All other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor or management that may be required to ensure the continued success of the company.Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Licensed Millwright or electrician\xc2\xb7 Experience with processing or high-speed packaging on a continuous production line would be an asset.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work continental shifts across days, nights and weekends\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an asset\xc2\xb7 Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and controls is an asset. Schedule - Continental Rotating Shift (5 straight day shifts/5 straight night shifts)For shifts (all continental):Week 1: M, T, F, Sat & SunWeek 2: W & ThWeek 3: M, T, F, Sat & Sun Week 4: W & ThSalary: $36/hr + $4 premium for night shift + $1 premium for weekends
