We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex machinery and equipment within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong mechanical background, electrical experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals. The Millwright will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Candidates with experience in industrial maintenance, HVAC, welding, boiler systems, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are highly preferred. Fluency in English and excellent analysis skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Install, align, and assemble machinery and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems
Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory
Diagnose issues related to industrial electrical systems, low voltage controls, PLCs, HVAC units, boilers, and other machinery components
Conduct repairs using welding techniques or mechanical adjustments as needed
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals for proper installation and repair procedures
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations
Assist in the planning and execution of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime
Provide excellent customer service by addressing operational concerns promptly and professionally
Requirements
Proven experience as a Millwright or in industrial maintenance within manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in schematics interpretation
Electrical experience including low voltage systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Hands-on experience with welding, boiler systems, HVAC units, and industrial electrician tasks is desirable
Ability to operate CMMS software effectively for maintenance tracking
Knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures
Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration
