Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks within an industrial setting. This role involves working with complex machinery, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal operational efficiency. The Millwright will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting production goals.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment in accordance with schematics and technical manuals. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and reliability. Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and resolve control system issues. Collaborate with other trades such as Compressor technicians, electrical, HVAC and welding teams to complete projects efficiently. Conduct inspections of critical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.

Experience

Proven experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing environments is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge is required, including the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Experience as an industrial electrician is a plus, particularly with low voltage systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems and welding techniques is advantageous. Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery problems effectively. Proficiency in English for clear communication within the team and documentation purposes.
