What youll do:
To achieve the Maintenance department and customer operations goals and ensure ongoing equipment (system) reliability through preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, troubleshooting/analysis and equipment upgrades.
Participate in the Preventive Maintenance Inspection programs on the Materials Handling systems to insure maximum uptime.
Work with a diverse team maintenance personnel to provide expert repairs to various equipment.
Provide your input to and participate with continual improvements to the maintenance program.
Complete planned and reactive repairs to the various mechanical, electrical, and building systems related to a Distribution Centre.
What you bring:
Licensed Industrial Millwright or Licensed Industrial Mechanic. 3rd or 4th term registered apprentices also welcome to apply
A high level of knowledge of materials handling conveyors, but MDR and belt type, electrical controls knowledge, and a good general ability with building maintenance.
A can do and confident attitude that will allow you to be inventive with urgent repairs when necessary but with an attention to detail that will lead to reliable, quality, repairs when more time allows.
An uncompromising attitude toward the safety of others and yourself.
A flexible outlook that lets you adjust to changing priorities as situations arise.
