Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Millwork Shop Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a leader in woodworking and cabinet fabrication for many years, with the ability to read technical blueprints and schematics. This role involves constructing and assisting in managing the fabrication of high end custom millwork, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every project. We are looking for someone with a good attitude who is motivated to win and help grow the company alongside our talented team.

Responsibilities

- Monitor production hours and ensure all team members are meeting their assigned deadlines. Provide the necessary support, resources, or adjustments to keep the shop running smoothly and ensure timely completion of project deliverables.

- Prepare and maintain a smooth and efficient production flow. Ensure all production benches are organized with current tasks in progress and upcoming tasks scheduled and ready for execution to prevent downtime and maintain consistent workflow.

- Engage directly in production, contributing hands-on support while maintaining alignment with workflow priorities and production deadlines.

- Assign duties to each cabinet maker based on their individual strengths, skills, and experience to maximize efficiency and production quality.

- Monitor and maintain accountability for all projects and associated materials. Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure project deadlines are achieved.

Qualifications

Minimum 20 Years Experience as a cabinet maker. Proven experience as a Leader and Foreman or similar role in woodworking or carpentry. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics related to cabinet construction. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication skills and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$47.00 per hour
