Overview

Al-Cal is currently hiring with multiple positions to fill, we are a commercial maintenance service provider for large grocery stores within NW Ontario, MB and SK. For the past 8 years we have been doing large scale interior renovations within these grocery stores. Some tasks include Millwork supply and install (Fascia, plastic laminate install, wood wall paneling and commercial cabinet making), Fixturing (Install new interior store shelving and signage). We are looking to hire for an immediate start with guided training. Personnel must a have valid driver's license / Reliable vehicle (Gas card will be provided, after 9 months Al-Cal supplied work vehicle will be provided) / Basic hand tools / PPE (Steel toe boots, hardhat and gloves). This job will require personnel to work overnight shifts which will provide them with a 10%-night premium to their hiring hourly wage, also personnel maybe be requested to work out of town with all live out paid for. Service work that can be conducted safely can be completed during regular business hours. This work takes place in nice clean work environments.

Duties

Install products according to specifications and company standards. Conduct site assessments prior to installation to ensure proper planning. Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as they arise. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during all installation processes.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. Previous experience in installation or a related fields are not required. Training will be provided.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
