About Us

Rabbit Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, has produced over 200 million pounds of uranium concentrate since its inception. The uranium mined and milled at Rabbit Lake has been used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.

The Role

You will be responsible for the safe operation of active mill circuits in accordance with established procedures and guidelines to meet operating plans. This includes monitoring environmental, safety and process controls, safe operation of the line patrol and water treatment circuits and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Required:

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant work experience
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
• Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

Recommended:

• Previous mill experience

This is a casual position, with an initial 6 months training period after which you will be on call to fill in for Mill Operators as required.

Safety Sensitive Site

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan\'s North (RSN).

Safety is a top priority at Cameco. Successful candidates who are already employed by Cameco at a non-Safety Sensitive Site will be required to take and pass a Substance Test, which includes marijuana, as a condition of their reassignment. Marijuana remains in a user\'s system for about 30 days, so applicants who recently used marijuana recreationally should not expect to pass a substance test. Cameco requires all Canadian employees to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
