The position of Mill Operations Support is focused on supporting the mill operations to achieve the highest quality product at the highest throughput possible. They will report to the Mill Production Manager and Operations Support Manager, tackling various tasks between the Mill and Warehouse, focusing on optimizing processes and supporting the daily operations of the mill.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



Bagging feed on the bagging line. Warehouse work, picking orders, loading and unloading trailers. Assisting with maintenance tasks, using hand tools. Loading bulk feed for carriers. Assist production staff, preparing ingredients and batching. Mill clean-up and handling off standard material. Following feed safety procedures. Yard cleanup and organization. Pickup and delivery runs. Attention to detail and due diligence is involved in every aspect of this position Additional duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills required:



High School Diploma, 1 year of manufacturing experience, working with automated equipment. Mechanical aptitude, hands on detail oriented. Maintains a clean work environment Keeps safety a priority for self and others Ability to lift, stack heavy objects up to 25kg and complete other physical job demands. Strong team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision. Experience driving equipment would be an asset. Lift truck and Elec pallet jack experience would be an asset G license

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
