Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various materials according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Conduct rigging operations as necessary for lifting and positioning materials. Operate additional machinery such as press brake machines, and forklifts when required. Ensure all welds meet quality standards through inspection and testing using calipers and other measuring tools. Collaborate with team members during assembly processes to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with machining processes and the operation of various manufacturing tools. Basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
