What you'll do

Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to fabricate components accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Conduct assembly of parts and structures, ensuring all components fit together seamlessly. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Engage in rigging activities for lifting heavy materials safely using cranes or forklifts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to ASME codes and standards.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing environments, showcasing your ability to work effectively under pressure.

Preferred qualifications

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques; familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is a plus. Experience with TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and assembly techniques. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
