\xe2\x80\x8bPosition Title: Microsoft 365 AnalystPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bPosition Location: Florenceville GTCRequisition ID: 29729\xe2\x80\x8b\xe2\x80\x8bPosition Summary:The Microsoft 365 Analyst is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic guidance for the various workloads, including license management and optimization, in the Microsoft 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies within McCain. They will evaluate and recommend the use of Microsoft products & services within McCain, serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for implementation projects, and drive ROI of the Microsoft 365 platform. They will advise business stakeholders in the proper use of Microsoft Products & Services to maximize collaboration and productivity benefits.Core Accountabilities/Outcomes:1.Evaluate, develop, and implement enterprise-wide collaboration and productivity solutions based on the Microsoft 365 platform and related Microsoft technologies (e.g., Modern Workplace, Azure)2.Provide SME support to the day-to-day support teams for Microsoft 365 (internal and third party support groups). This SME support function might involve periodic assessments of the support teams and identification of any gaps.3.Seek continuous improvement opportunities for license optimization in environment4.Execute on Microsoft 365 release management activities from the product backlog5.Consult with business and IT groups on various use cases and solutions to business challenges that can be solved with Microsoft 365. Drive adoption of Microsoft 365 workloads for ROI6.Execution of Service Now ITIL requests and tasks for Microsoft 365 related requests or as neededQualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of productivity applications especially within the Microsoft 365 suite including:
  • Microsoft 365 licensing
  • Microsoft Entra
  • Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS)
  • Exchange (Exchange Online and Exchange On-premise)
  • Office 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Apps for Enterprise)
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Defender for Endpoint/Cloud Apps/Identity/Office 365
  • Microsoft Purview
  • Powershell
  • Microsoft Security
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge and competence in operating in an Enterprise ITIL environment
  • Working knowledge of agile methodologies such as scrum and sprints
Academic:Must have:Post Secondary degree or Diploma in a technical program for IT infrastructure management coupled with 2 - 3 years\' experience operating in an Enterprise IT environment.College IT DiplomaNice to have:Computer ScienceProfessional/Technical Accreditations:Must have:Prior experience managing Windows PC\'s and Office 365, preferably capable of attaining Microsoft accreditationsMicrosoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, or Security, Compliance, and Identity FundamentalsNice to have:Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Teams Administrator Associate, Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate, Administrator ExpertRelated Work Experience (Internal to the organization or external):This position requires 3-4 years\' experience in an enterprise end user computing environment upon entry. This includes Service/Incident Management skills for PC\'s as well as in-depth knowledge of Office 365.Working Relationships/Key Contacts:ContactPurposeInternal:1Departmental ManagementProvide technical strategies and roadmaps on the best use of Microsoft technologies for the end user computing area2Workplace Services Team MembersServe as the SME for day-to-day questions on proper management of the Microsoft 365 stack of services3Regional Support Specialists and PartnersAdditional point of contact or regular support resources for abnormal technical issues4IT Service ManagersPartner for support and execution of activities in the Microsoft 365 space by our Vendor partner.5Infrastructure Solution ArchitectsTo contribute to infrastructure architecture plans and strategies.6Deployment AnalystServe as the SME for deployments analysts on projects that have deliverables associated in the Microsoft 365 platformExternal1MicrosoftTo obtain an expert level understanding of the M365 stack of services and modern desktop management. Includes knowledge of future product roadmaps.2Microsoft Solution PartnersServe as McCain technical lead for implementation projects that involve Microsoft 365 and modern workplace environments.3Vendor PartnerRegularly assess Tier 1 & 2 support capabilities for M365 and identify and gaps. Participate with Vendor\'s M365 Center of Excellence team on major incidents.Competencies:Critical TECHNICAL (Function-Specific) Competencies:
  • Operational management of Microsoft technologies relevant to end user computing and office productivity.
  • Strong understanding of other enterprise IT infrastructures - servers, storage, networks, User Authentication Services (Active Directory), Cloud Computing and associated service providers.
  • Project leadership for implementation of new capabilities.
