Job Description


:Position SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Operations and reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer of the company, this position is responsible for the overall management of Marketing operations at the Casino New-Brunswick site, as well as leading, managing and executing all casino marketing campaigns, promotions, and advertising at the site level. Develops performance objectives and delivers performance evaluations. Actively participates in the recruitment and hiring process. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures, motivates, and leads by example and provides a learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.Key Accountabilities

  • Oversees Marketing operations at Casino New-Brunswick.
  • Plans, manages, and implements the site marketing programs, including all details throughout a promotion, campaign, or special event.
  • Works with the Director of Operations in drafting annual site marketing plans and budgets; maintains budgeted labor and promotional costs for campaigns and special events.
  • Develops strategies to leverage and maximize the loyalty program.
  • Coordinates media plans and advertising campaigns; purchases media.
  • Works within brand standards within all integrated marketing and property specific campaigns
  • Oversees content and site level social media efforts to include floor promotions, food and beverage, entertainment, theatre communications and overall experience.
  • Spearheads research driven initiatives to effectively inform marketing efforts, including situational and competitive analysis and consumer insights.
  • Monitors and updates the site marketing/advertising budgets, reporting variances.
  • Manages and assists the on-site Marketing Coordinator.
  • Executes property-level event programming and online promotion plans, including all associated collateral on and off site.
  • Conducts ROI analysis for property-specific advertising, promotional and online marketing initiatives - with the assistance of corporate marketing analytics team and digital team.
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments.
  • Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, regulatory bodies, and team members.
  • Liaises with local community to establish and foster positive relationships.
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with NBLGC.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, advertising, or business administration required.
  • Minimum (5) years of marketing experience with 2-3 years of management experience; gaming, entertainment or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience with customer- or consumer-centric organizations (e.g., hospitality, hotels, food & beverage, entertainment, tourism, gaming, agencies, retail).
  • Working knowledge and expertise with traditional and non-traditional media and advertising.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) considered an asset.
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective, and service oriented communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy in MS Office
  • Willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization and obtain and maintain an NBLGC license registration.
Work Environment Considerations
  • Regular casino environment, standing for long periods of time, some exposure to noise, non-traditional work hours may be required in certain circumstances.
