Overview:Summary/objective
The Manager, Communications, Repair OnDemand, will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communication strategies to ensure consistent, clear, and engaging messaging both within the organization and to our external audiences. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can collaborate across departments to identify content opportunities, develop compelling content, and foster effective communication practices that support our business goals. Affirmative Action/EEO statement: JOB DESCRIPTION Essential functions Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. \xe2\x80\xa2Collaborate with sales, customer success, product marketing, HR, and other internal teams to identify key trends, themes, and content opportunities that support both internal communication needs and external product and sales goals. \xe2\x80\xa2Develop and implement communication strategies that ensure consistent, clear, and engaging messaging across both internal and external audiences, aligned with company goals, values, and objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2Guide the content strategy, editorial calendar, and workflows to align with marketing, sales, and internal communication objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2Create B2B marketing content tailored to key external audiences and personas in various formats including video, webinars, infographics, blogs, newsletters, and presentations. \xe2\x80\xa2Develop and implement an internal communications strategy to ensure all employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals, values, and initiatives. \xe2\x80\xa2Manage the creation and distribution of internal content that supports company-wide updates, leadership communications, and cross-departmental collaboration. \xe2\x80\xa2Create and manage external marketing content that builds brand preference, audience engagement, digital authority, and website traffic. \xe2\x80\xa2Manage writers, editors, partners, and customers in the creation of content, overseeing the use of content budgets to achieve goals. \xe2\x80\xa2Use data, research, and collaboration to create and manage strategies that align content creation with campaign themes, content formats, target audiences, SEO keywords, and internal communication objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2Continuously assess and refine communication strategies based on performance data and feedback from stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2Develop and manage editorial governance to ensure all content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone across both internal and external communications. \xe2\x80\xa2Identify creative ways to repurpose, repackage, and reuse content for distribution to broader external audiences and adapt content for internal communications. \xe2\x80\xa2Serve as the chief content evangelist to internally educate teams on content plans and strategies, championing effective communication practices across the organization. \xe2\x80\xa2Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover all possible activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Minimum Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, communications, English, media, or journalism preferred. \xe2\x80\xa25+ years of related marketing and communications experience (e.g., publishing, editorial, journalism, content marketing, copywriting, digital marketing) Preferred Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution, and measurement. \xe2\x80\xa2Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience. \xe2\x80\xa2Ability to analyze content and social media performance, create compelling content based on insights, and effectively present findings to optimize future strategies. \xe2\x80\xa2Project management skills and capabilities to manage priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales. \xe2\x80\xa2Proven ability to understand and work with buyer personas. \xe2\x80\xa2Proven ability to manage relationships and influence effectively at all levels within the team and organization. \xe2\x80\xa2Demonstrated ability to confidently take charge of new projects, even amidst ambiguity. \xe2\x80\xa2Exceptional writing skills and willingness to share writing examples. \xe2\x80\xa2Experience with WordPress, Google analytics, and the top social channels \xe2\x80\xa2Strong business and technical acumen \xe2\x80\xa2Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and understand new concepts, tools, and markets. Supervisory responsibilities This role has no supervisory responsibilities. Work environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Physical demands Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment.
