Job Description

As a method agent, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining up-to-date production information for our various product lines by ensuring their proper implementation on the production floor. You will also be called upon to evolve our current methods in order to promote the improvement of quality, efficiency, and the reduction of production costs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


Write manufacturing procedures/routines/assembly and disassembly work instructions for our MES system; Create/modify manufacturing BOMs and associated components; Produce operation specific visual aids using computer aided design software (Solidworks); Training of production personnel; Develop repair/rework procedures; Optimize production sequences; Study, measure, analyze and improve the assembly and/or manufacturing methods of parts and/or robot sub-assemblies; Support production teams to solve assembly problems and ensure continuity of operations; Develop processes to improve productivity; Continuously optimize the performance and efficiency of our processes according to the growth of production volumes; Participate in the improvement of business processes.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS


Bachelor's or college degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or other related field; Minimum two years experience in a similar position or DEC or AEC in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or other related field; Mastery of design software (Solidworks/Catia/Autocad/Inventor); Excellent problem solving skills; Excellent communication and teamwork skills with different departments and all levels of personnel to present and explain complex technical issues and possible corrective solutions; Excellent interpersonal skills; Leadership, autonomy, resourcefulness and ability to influence; Bilingual (French, English).


ASSETS


Experience in robotics and/or in the industrial, medical or aerospace fields; Knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9100 and 21 CFR 820 standards; Knowledge of ERP and/or MES systems.
