About the Client
Our client is sourcing a Metals Research Market Trade Analyst to join their team.About the Opportunity
- Market Research and Analysis: Perform marketing research for new and / or improved opportunities for sales and marketing
- Researching the market
- Evaluating opportunities
- Managing the interactions and accounts
- Evaluate potential new customers for capability and logistics feasibility
- Perform market analysis
- Assist in the arrangement and facilitation of visits to customers
- Research and compile and sections of various reports
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Geology, Engineering, Commercial or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in metals research, commodity analysis, or financial analysis within the metals/mining industry or a financial institution
- Or working experience as an engineer or geologist within mining or the oil and gas industry. Mining & international experience a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with high proficiency in data interpretation and trend analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, data analysis tools, and familiarity with financial modeling; experience with software like Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon, or similar databases is advantageous
