Job Description
Penfolds Roofing has been providing Residential and Commercial roofing services in British Columbia since 1937. We are looking for experienced metal roofers who can take on, and lead, their own crew.

Responsibilities
- Install/ replace Standing-Seam metal roofs
- Install/ replace sheet metal flashing as required
- Conduct/ participate in Job Site Safety Meetings/ Toolbox talks
- Perform all work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations
- Remove existing roofing shingles/ materials of all types as well as underlay/ tar paper
- Install/ replace plywood sheeting as required
- Maintain personal and team safety on jobsites
Requirements
- Written and spoken English
- Must be physically fit (able to lift and carry up to 70 lbs)
- Commitment to high standards for quality and excellence in all aspects of the job
- Knowledge of Safe Work Procedures
- Prior sheet metal, roofing, or construction experience
- Knowledge of hand and power tools for the trade
- Knowledge of different types of roof systems and fasteners
- Must be able to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year
- Completion of a Sheet Metal Apprenticeship program considered a strong asset
