Our organization is currently seeking Metal Workers to join our crew. We are looking for hard working, dedicated individuals who are interested in contributing to our team and maintaining a productive work environment. Though not necessary, the ideal candidate will have a background in using and operating metalworking equipment. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
- Operate metalworking machines including shears and brakes
- Cut, bend, roll or otherwise shape and form metal stock into product
- Fabricate product to correct dimensions and other work order specifications
- Document work completed
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs
- Work Setting: Metal product fabrication industry / shop setting
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Education: Degree, certificate or diploma preferable but not necessary
- Experience: Preferable but not necessary
- Probationary Period: Yes
- Salary: Based on experience
