Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our team at ABC Fire Door. This position is based in Mississauga, Ontario, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process of our high-quality doors and frames. Your contributions will directly support our mission of delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery and tools for the fabrication of hollow metal doors and frames. This includes, using a sheering machine, CNC punch and folding machine along with Mig welding capabilities. Assemble components accurately and efficiently according to specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely while adhering to company standards. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our high standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety. Assist in inventory management and materials handling as needed.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge, decent math capabilities and experience in manufacturing environments. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery relevant to fabrication. Strong understanding of assembly processes and techniques. Physically fit to maneuver large metal sheets and doors Familiarity with materials handling practices is preferred. Experience in machining or carpentry is an asset but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
