Rotsaert Dental Lab is a leading dental laboratory in Hamilton, over 60 years we pride ourselves on delivering high quality dental prosthetics and appliances using advanced technologies and dedicated craftsmanship.

Position Overview

As a Metal Technician, you will be responsible in working with dental alloys to fabricate high quality crowns, bridges, and implant frameworks. In addition you will be cutting, trimming and grinding excess materials from castings, polishing metal surfaces using rotary instruments, sandblaster and handpieces. Knowledge of casting and waxing will be an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and finish metal frameworks for fixed prosthetics Cast, cut, and polish metal restorations with high attention to detail Follow dental prescriptions and lab protocols accurately Ensure the highest level of accuracy and craftsmanship in all work Maintain equipment and sterilize tools Communicate effectively with clinical staff to clarify specifications Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace

Qualifications

Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in a dental lab environment Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of dental materials, laboratory techniques, and safety protocols
