Experienced Metal Cladding Installers Required

We are looking for experienced metal cladding installers. have roof and wall cladding experience. Structural steel experience an asset.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

- Interpret specifications, blueprints and job orders as need for area.

- Install and assist directing of installation for assemblies in building or work-site.

- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

- Establishes and adjusts work sequences to meet construction schedules using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.

- Analyze and resolves work problems.

Requirements:

- Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy, perform a variety of duties which may change often, plan, lay-out, fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal parts, products and equipment, utilizing knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, machining and lay-out techniques, using hand-tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.

- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or products specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabrication, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.

- Lay-out and mark dimensions and reference lines on materials, using scribers, dividers, squares, and rulers, applying knowledge of shop mathematics and lay-out techniques to develop and trace patterns to product or parts, or use of templates.

- Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, welds, solders, bolts, rivets, screws, clips, caulks, and bonds component parts to assemble products, using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

- Installs assemblies in supportive framework according to blueprints, using hand tools, power tools, and lifting and handling devices. Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments required.

- Repair and maintain sheet metal products.

- Knowledge of OHS work-site safety required.

- Needs to be organized, detail oriented, motivated, reliable, responsible, and have a great attitude.

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time during a regular work day; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds; climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other climbing devices; carry tools and equipment; work while in stooped, kneeling, crouched, and crawling positions; be able to see naturally or with correction, to safely perform designated tasks.

Must have a valid Class 5 drivers licence. Fall protection & CSTS 2020 are required. Elevated work platform and zoom-boom training certificates are an asset. Must be able to work out-of-town when needed.
