Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), the M&A Analyst supports our company's growth by contributing to our strategic acquisition efforts through sourcing, evaluating, and execution when opportunities come to fruition.

The successful candidate will require strong financial acumen, ability to think strategically and possess effective communication skills.

The Opportunity:

  • Identify, research, and evaluate potential acquisition targets and assist in managing the M&A pipeline
  • Analyze financial statements and operational metrics
  • Develop financial models to assist in valuing potential targets, identifying synergies and projecting post-close performance
  • Assist in preparing acquisition reporting and strategic growth planning communication with leadership and board members
  • Oversee data room and assist in diligence of potential targets
  • Coordinate with outside legal, financial, environmental, insurance, tax and operational consultants and advisors
  • Support contract negotiations
  • Facilitate integration process with team members throughout the organization
  • Track post-close performance and communicate results with management and board
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities
Knowledge, Experience and Skill:
  • Undergraduate degree, ideally in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Three to five years of experience in accounting, corporate development, private equity, investment banking or management consulting
  • Experience analyzing company financial statements and building financial models
  • Strong organization skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently while managing multiple tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • Ambitious nature with a high sense of integrity
