We are looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to join our Support Office in Vancouver, BC. The Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for supporting product and supply planning across all sales channels. This individual will champion project timelines, coordinate the custom order program with various departments, document product specifics/timelines and act as a liaison between the Operations and Marketing & Sales teams.
At times, the Merchandise Coordinator will be involved in creative aspects of merchandise development and providing input on product concepts. In this role, responsibilities may include but are not limited to: . Address internal product specific queries . Update teams on project timelines moving from concept to launch . Collate product performance feedback from sales teams . Update cross department documents and SOP's with product details . Prepare product memos/sweet talkers including product and supply specifics . Set up cross department calendars . Proof marketing materials such as retail signage and catalogues . Provide and proof barcodes for new artwork . Assist with determining inventory levels for product planning purposes . Liaise between digital, creative and operations teams to coordinate custom orders . Maintain custom order tracker and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders . Arrange new product set up for custom orders (SKU/BOM set up/pricing) . Coordinate product samples for internal requirements, update sample trackers and communicate changes to relevant teams . Assist with product shipping and packing tests . Assist with research into new packaging development The Successful Candidate Must Have: . Diploma or certificate in related discipline (i.e. business) . 1 year of experience in a retail operations, merchandise planning or buyer position . Strong organizational and collaboration skills . Experience using Power BI, Crystal Reports and Syteline is an asset . Knowledge of product launch requirements and timelines .
