Position Summary

YES Employment + Entrepreneurship is seeking a Mentorship Coordinator who is a self-starter with strong organizational skills and a passion for building meaningful connections between mentors, mentees, and community stakeholders.

The Mentorship Coordinator is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive volunteer program that fosters meaningful connections between mentors and mentees. The Mentorship Coordinator manages all facets of the program, including recruiting and training volunteers, matching them with suitable mentees, monitoring the progress of mentorship pairings, and providing continuous follow-up support to ensure the success of the program.

Position Responsibilities



Designing, developing and delivering a comprehensive mentorship program tailored to participant's needs including developing program materials, training modules and evaluation tools

Coordinating all program logistics including schedules, resources and events

Developing and executing strategies to recruit qualified mentors from various professional backgrounds.

Matching participants with mentors based on compatibility, expertise, and development objectives.

Managing the onboarding process for all participants and mentors

Communicating expectations and guidelines to participants to foster strong relationships.

Identify and cultivate opportunities for volunteer engagement and community involvement to support and strengthen program delivery.

Monitoring the program to track progress and address issues or concerns

Maintaining accurate and organized records of participants, matches, and program activities.

Analyzing program data to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

Ability to create and manage content

for mentorship handbooks, toolkits, or resource guides.

Proven experience in program coordination, mentorship, or training roles.

Event planning or coordination skills

for mentorship networking events, panels, or recognition ceremonies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

Proficiency in using technology and software tools for program management and reporting.

Familiarity with project management tools, MS 365 and CRM systems.

Cultural competency and inclusive practices

, particularly when working with marginalized or underrepresented communities.

Passion for mentorship, helping others achieve their potential and community building.

Familiar with video conferencing and other communication related technologies.

Bilingualism is an asset.

As an organization that provides services in English this position requires excellent English writing and communication skills.

YES Emploi + Entrepreneuriat est a la recherche d'un(e) Coordonnateur(trice) du mentorat, autonome, dote(e) de solides competences organisationnelles et anime(e) par le desir de creer des liens significatifs entre mentors, mentores et acteurs communautaires.

Le(la) Coordonnateur(trice) du mentorat est responsable de concevoir et de mettre en oeuvre un programme complet de benevolat qui favorise des relations enrichissantes entre mentors et mentores. Cette personne gere toutes les facettes du programme, notamment le recrutement et la formation des benevoles, leur jumelage avec les mentores appropries, le suivi des progres des relations de mentorat et l'accompagnement continu afin d'assurer le succes du programme.

Responsabilites principales



Concevoir, elaborer et offrir un programme de mentorat adapte aux besoins des participants, incluant la creation de materiel, de modules de formation et d'outils d'evaluation.

Coordonner la logistique du programme, notamment les horaires, les ressources et les evenements.

Elaborer et mettre en oeuvre des strategies pour recruter des mentors qualifies issus de divers
horizons professionnels.

Jumeler les participants avec des mentors selon leur compatibilite, leurs competences et leurs objectifs
de developpement.

Gerer le processus d'integration des mentors et des mentores.

Communiquer clairement les attentes et les lignes directrices afin de favoriser des relations solides.

Identifier et developper des occasions d'engagement benevole et de participation communautaire pour appuyer
et renforcer le programme.

Assurer le suivi du programme afin de mesurer les progres et de resoudre toute difficulte ou preoccupation.

Maintenir des dossiers precis et bien organises sur les participants, les jumelages et les activites du programme.

Analyser les donnees du programme pour evaluer les resultats et identifier les pistes d'amelioration.

Connaissances, competences et qualifications

Baccalaureat en ressources humaines, education, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.

Capacite a creer et a gerer du contenu pour des guides, trousses d'outils ou manuels de mentorat.

Experience demontree en coordination de programmes, mentorat ou formation.

Competences en planification ou coordination d'evenements pour des activites de reseautage, des panels ou des ceremonies de reconnaissance liees au mentorat.

Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacite d'interagir efficacement avec des personnes issues de divers milieux.

Capacite a travailler de facon autonome et a gerer plusieurs taches simultanement.

Aisance dans l'utilisation des technologies et des logiciels de gestion et de suivi de programmes.

Connaissance des outils de gestion de projet, de MS 365 et des systemes CRM.

Sensibilite culturelle et pratiques inclusives, particulierement dans le travail aupres de communautes marginalisees ou sous-representees.

Passion pour le mentorat, le developpement du potentiel des autres et le renforcement des communautes.

Familiarite avec les outils de videoconference et autres technologies de communication.

Le bilinguisme constitue un atout.

En tant qu'organisation qui offre des services en anglais, ce poste exige d'excellentes competences en redaction et en communication dans cette langue.
