The Lethbridge Child, Youth and Family Addiction and Mental Health Clinic is looking to recruit a 1.0 FTE temporary (1-year) mental health therapist. The therapy process includes screening, assessment, collaborative treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and case management. Therapeutic interventions will include but are not limited to individual/group/family therapy and psychoeducational skill-building. Service and interventions are delivered in a hybrid model of face-to-face and virtual delivery methods. Working from a trauma-informed perspective the incumbent may provide consultation and therapeutic direction to community partners and child advocacy centres and will support capacity building in allied professionals. Some evening work is required to meet the needs of children, youth, families and communities. The Mental Health Therapist performs other related duties as directed by the Manager or his/her designate. Authorization for restricted psycho-social intervention and registration with applicable college is required.
