POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Planner will promote mental health and coordinate support services on behalf of Youth Net/Reseau Ado (YN/RA). YN/RA is a bilingual for youth by youth mental health promotion program of the Mental Health Patient Service Unit at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO). YN/RA offers alternative support services for youth. We strive to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health & mental illness through prevention/intervention activities, education, research, and advocacy.
The Mental Health Planner will work closely with YN/RA core team and facilitators. She or he is responsible for coordinating facilitators, conducting youth program intake, and supporting YN/RA's youth advisory committee. This individual must be highly organized and creative, and possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work flexible hours including weekday evening and occasional weekends.
