SALARY: $32.3446 to $43.9831 per hour

JOB PURPOSE:

The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for supervising the provision of services to clients, their families, and communities within Addictions and Mental Health. May be required to work at other addiction and mental health facilities as operationally required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A University degree in Social Work.
• Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Must have three years of clinical experience in community addiction and/or mental health.
• Must have proof of a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and access to a vehicle.
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for:

• Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery
• Planning, directing and evaluating Addiction/Mental Health programs and services
• Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs.
• Serving as a communication link and liaison with internal and external stakeholders and liaising with Clinical Supervisors as required
• Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
• Reviewing all open client files to ensure they have an active Recovery Plan with clear goals, objectives, timelines and discharge planning
• Performing the work of a social worker
